Home School Partnership

The home-school agreement is a statement explaining:

  • the school’s aims and values
  • the school’s responsibilities towards its pupils
  • the responsibility of each pupil’s parents
  • what the school expects of its pupils.


For Parents / Guardians:-

I / We shall:

  • see that my child goes to school regularly, on time and properly equipped
  • make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behaviour
  • inform the school if my child cannot attend for any reason, preferably by the first day
  • support the school’s guidelines for behaviour
  • support my child in homework and other opportunities for home-learning
  • attend parents’ evenings and discussions for home-learning
  • get to know about my child’s life at the school

For The Staff and Governors

We shall:

  • care for your child’s safety and happiness
  • encourage your child to achieve his / her full potential as a valued member of the school community
  • provide a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs of your child
  • regularly inform parents what their child will be taught and the broad systems used in teaching the curriculum
  • achieve high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility
  • keep you informed about the school’s policies and general school matters
  • keep you informed about your child’s progress and any concerns or problems that may occur
  • be open and welcoming at all times and offer opportunities for you to become involved in the daily life of the school

For Pupils

I shall:

  • attend school regularly and on time
  • have all the equipment I need at school every day
  • wear the school uniform and be tidy in appearance
  • do all my class work and homework as well as I can
  • be polite and helpful to others
  • behave properly and respectfully
  • keep the school tidy
  • keep the school rules
